JOB: Account Manager
LOCATION: Illinois
STATUS: Full-Time


POSITION SUMMARY

Under limited supervision will be responsible for the development and implementation of specified targeted accounts and distributors within the Mid-West in order to provide a high level of engineering, technical, direct sales expertise in order to provide exemplary customer service necessary to existing clients and large and complex sales development projects.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and develop business plans, product strategy and forecasts for targeted accounts to include the development, maintenance of client relationships with US accounts.
  • Establish a high level of communication with Engineering and Purchasing to achieve new product designs.
  • Interface with distributors to provide product training and aid in business development
  • Initiate contact with companies to identify, evaluate and coordinate the development of on-going and new product development.
  • Prepare presentations for customers to include engineering designs pertaining to product development.

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  • B.S. /B.A. Degree
  • Three to Five years experience within the electronics industry with exposure both in engineering and sales.
  • Able to work independently and demonstrate success in utilizing experience in sales and engineering in achievement of goals.
  • Capable of achieving the development of new accounts and provide existing accounts with a high level of customer service.
